Ready-made SkyTeam trips in Bonussøk: round trips that already have seats

· · 3 min read · updated

Putting together a partner trip from scratch means finding open seats both out and back, on dates that line up. That’s a fair bit of work. Ready-made SkyTeam trips, or Trip-Finder, takes that work off your hands.

What it does

Instead of pairing the outbound and return yourself, Trip-Finder shows curated round-trip suggestions where the award seats are already open. You see complete trips, not loose pieces, and can book one that suits you instead of building it all yourself. It’s the fastest route from idea to finished plan on the partner network.

How to use it

A couple of things make the tool more powerful than it looks:

  • You can search from several big hubs at once, including OSL, CPH, ARN, AMS, CDG and LHR. If you live in the Nordics, it catches departures from the hub that suits you, without you having to search each airport separately.
  • You set the trip length, seven to fourteen nights for example, so the suggestions match how long you actually want to be away.
  • You choose the cabin class and can set a cap on the maximum points for the round trip, so you only see trips within budget.
  • You can exclude airlines that charge a double points price, so you only see the cheapest partners.

There’s also a dedicated Group split for when there are several of you. It helps you find seats for a group even when everything isn’t available on the same booking, by splitting the party up smartly. Below the search you’ll also find popular trips from Europe right now, as inspiration if you just want to browse.

Why it’s useful

The hardest part of a partner trip is getting both directions to line up. An open seat out doesn’t mean an open seat home, and searching for both at once is where a lot of people give up. Ready-made suggestions remove that friction. Everything is already put together and confirmed available, so you don’t have to solve the puzzle yourself.

It’s a perfect starting point if you’re open about where you want to go. If you’d rather control the details yourself, use the SkyTeam search, and if you want to explore visually, start with the SkyTeam map. Once you’ve found a trip, you can put it together further in the trip planner, with hotels and feeder flights.

Who it’s for

This is for anyone who wants as little hassle as possible and just to see concrete trips they can take, and for families and groups who need several seats at once. It’s part of the SkyTeam tools on the Pro tier. See plans and pricing for what’s included.
